Description
In 2013 we started a contest for young designers – students of art. The goal was to make a design of the watch which should be a tribute to the polish most famous cavalry – the Hussars. Designers should take take into consideration the movement, size of the case, etc.. The prize in the competition was a launch of production of the design under with own name on it. It was a chance for young people to face completely new experience of real production of the project.
We received a lot great projects. The author of the best project was Mr. Tomasz Michalski.
Now the production of this watch is finished. The Hussar is very elegant, and thin (9mm) watch. On the enameled face you will find symbols of the Winged Hussars wings. Second hand looks like a hussar lance. The jury of the contest appreciated especially the delicacy of symbolism -without affecting the clarity of the project.
